Each custom-built Hooked Outdoors rod is individually handcrafted by owner Braden Smith in Richmond, Virginia. Each custom build starts at a set price of $275.00 and consists of one of our exclusive USA-made rod blanks, a Fuji reel seat, black EVA foam grips, Fuji series guides, a stainless steel hook keeper, a selection of 2 thread colors (main & accent), our signature Hooked decal, and rod specifications. All modifications to this base model are considered upgrades and will be charged accordingly. 

Please note that our current lead time on custom builds is approximately 14 weeks.

We specialize in freshwater and inshore builds; at this time we do not build rods for offshore applications.

Please include the desired length and action, choice of grip material, and description of any personalization (name, decal, logo, image, etc.) you wish to add. We will reach out to schedule a phone consultation to review your options and choices and answer any questions you may have. Once we have all of the information we need, we can prepare a quote.

Before we begin your build, we will confirm your specifications to ensure everything is correct. 

When your order is ready, we’ll either arrange a local delivery/pickup for Richmond, Virginia customers or ship your order anywhere in the U.S. for a flat $45.00 fee. (Rods exceeding 8 ft in length are subject to additional shipping charges.)
